CEMETERY TOURS

Houston's cemeteries range from beautiful parks to abandoned lots overgrown with weeds, but all remind us of those who have gone before -- happy stories, loves lost, fortunes made, lives cut short by disease or disaster.

Itineraries can include walking tours inside cemeteries.  They can also be adapted for groups who have limited walking and standing ability.

Available all year round, but especially scary in October.

Available during the day. 

Fees: $20/person with a 10-person minimum and 20-person maximum for a two-hour, one-mile walking tour in one cemetery.  $240 for a three-four-hour driving tour covering more than one cemetery and including time for an optional meal. 

Some cemeteries are too small to allow a tour bus inside; in this case, the driver will park the bus and the tour will be conducted on foot.
